This is a clock that harps back to a childhood memory. this was to do with my grandfathers sister who used to hold piano playing evenings in my Grandmothers house. it also alludes to the idea of furniture having memory, as chairs might have memory of those who sat often sat in them. As a child these seemed to be very theatrical occasions.
